2010 Beginner/Intermediate YOGA Class Schedule:

Adult Flow Yoga will offer a gentle, flowing style of Hatha Yoga.  Participants are encouraged to open themselves to the many benefits of yoga as we explore a variety of yoga postures. Hatha Yoga focuses on strengthening and toning muscles, increasing balance and flexibility, as well as creating a sense of inner peace and well being.

Lunch time Yoga - de-stress with the gentle, flowing style of Hatha Yoga!  You will strengthen and tone muscles, increase your balance and flexibility, as well as creating a sense of inner peace and well being.  Classes run in 4 week sessions. 

 

Adult Beginner GENTLE Yoga (Easiest) - This class will focus on GENTLE Stretching, Breathing, Meditation and Relaxation for our minds and bodies for all levels of practice. Some potential benefits are better circulation, increased capacity to breathe, improved digestion, increased flexibility and stress reduction. We offer modifications for everybody and every body type.  

 

Adult Beginner Flow Yoga - This class offers adults the gentle, flowing style of Hatha Yoga, which focuses on strengthening and toning muscles, increasing balance and flexibility, as well as creating a sense of inner peace and well being.  Sign up early as this class fills up quickly.

 

Power Core Yoga for Adults - Offered for those yogis ready for more of a challenge, who have participated previously in Yoga.  The flowing style of Hatha Yoga is continued from the Beginner class.  Classes run in 4 week sessions. 

 

Age 5 & Up YOGA KIDS! -   Children ages 5 and up now have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of Yoga with instructor Amanda Rice.  This is a wonderful chance to introduce kids to health and fitness while exercising our minds and bodies. Classes run in 4 week sessions. 

 

Preschool and Kindergarten YOGA KIDS! - not currently offered - contact me with your interest at the Forest Park Lodge. Open for children 2 and older, this YogaKids class offers yoga style games and play for Kindergarteners and Preschoolers.  Kids and their parent/caregiver explore creative and fun functional movement.  YogaKids fosters caregiver/child bonding and builds confidence to feel comfortable during our "within" or reflective class time.  This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce kids to health and fitness while exercising our minds and bodies.  Come play and yoga with us in a safe and fun environment. Classes run in 4 week sessions.
